Kalamazoo F.C. is proud to announce that the club will be moving from NPSL to USL2. Joining the ranks of other Michigan teams like Ann Arbor, Flint City Bucks, and Oakland County we are excited to be right back in the mix. We as an organization are excited to become part of this amazing league. This shift will provide the club with new opportunities to grow as well as help us on the road towards reaching our goals.

Dave had this to say about our change in league, “I think USL2 has a clearer path to the higher tiers of US Soccer. It will, undoubtedly, give us a wider recruiting net to attract high-quality players. With the structure and support we offer incoming players …i.e. housing, job opportunities, community involvement Kalamazoo FC will be an attractive option for players. The competition in USL2 is much tougher…which means the level of soccer and entertainment we can bring to Kalamazoo is much higher. Increasing attendance is going to be a key USL2 gives us a solid road map to success. Keep in mind $1 of every ticket that Kalamazoo FC sells goes back to a local charity….anything we can do to increase attendance means more help for those charities.”

It’s clear that these changes will alter the club’s direction in a positive way. Kalamazoo F.C. is entering a new era, one filled with professionalism, high level of play, and community engagement. The organization is extremely excited to share this new experience with our fans here at Mayor’s Riverfront Park. We have many more announcements coming soon regarding other ventures so please stay tuned!
